Hey there, I’m Leora
I am a mechanical engineer and product designer living in San Francisco, California. In May 2021, I received my master’s degree in Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania. In May 2020, I graduated magna cum laude from Penn with my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. I currently work as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Zipline in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I found my way to Mechanical Engineering by following my aptitude for science and math, and my passions for building new technologies that can help humans and construct a better world. Through my studies and internships, I discovered my interest in being creative, as well as my appreciation for design and manufacturing, which led me to pursue a master's degree in Integrated Product Design. I cannot wait to add design thinking, ergonomics, and industrial design knowledge to my experiences in mechanical design and fabrication.
I am also a brunch lover, a Broadway musical fanatic, a runner and cycler, and someone who loves meeting and talking to new people.
